
The classic 1940s-era Broadway musical, Guys and Dolls, will begin performances at the Nederlander theater on February 3 and officially open March 1. If you are not already familiar with this Broadway musical, it is the story of a fly-by-night gambler woos a Salvation Army lass, and a showgirl who tries to hook the founder of "the oldest, established, permanent, floating crap game in New York." It is the love story of whether the attraction of opposites will succeed.
Songs include "Sit Down, You're Rockin' the Boat," "A Bushel and a Peck," "Luck Be a Lady," "Fugue for Tinhorns," "Marry the Man Today" and the title song.
Tickets for American Express Card holders went on sale November 12. Tickets for the general public go on sale November 27.
