A new Broadway musical is on its way. Evan Rachel Wood, will play Mary Jane in the Julie Taymor-directed production of “Spiderman”. They are hoping to get  Jim Sturgess to play Spidey. Sturgess was her costar in song in the Beatles-themed film "Across the Universe".

Director, Taymor Along with the star power, the Spider-Man musical boasts music by Bono and The Edge of U2.

Evan Rachel Wood says rehearsals for the new Broadway musical will start in June.
