Irving Berlin’s lavish musical  “White Christmas” has been circling around Broadway for some time but will finally open at the Marquis theater November 23, 2008.  The performances start before then on November 14 and end January 4, 2009.

The Broadway musical is the story of WWII veterans, Bob Wallace and Phil davis who partner up for a song and dance act after the war ended. Both of the men in the broadway musical are looking for love and end up following 2 singing sisters who have a Christmas job at a Vermont Inn.  The inn is by happen-stance owned by their former army commander, General Waverly. Among the songs included is “Holiday Inn “ which won an Academy award in the film version. The famous movie starred Bing Crosby, Fred Astaire.

Tickets, which range in price from. $66.50-$122.50 go on sale to the general public September 21. The theater is located on 1525 Broadway, New York, New York.
