Broadway Musicals for Learning and Entertainment |

One of the coolest things that you can do this holiday season with your family is to enjoy something more cultural, something that has educational value but at the same time, entertaining. There are plenty of Broadway musicals playing in venues all across the continent, so why not consider several Broadway tickets to all time classics such as the Phantom of the Opera, Mamma Mia, and Les Miserables? If you have not been to a Broadway musical, you probably do not understand the thrill behind the shows displayed the music played. I attended my first Broadway musical around two years ago, and before then, I absolutely thought that musicals were just a waste of money spent to watch a bunch of people dressed up in costumes and singing out a show. That is exactly what it is, but it is more entertaining than that. After watching shows like Cats and Mamma Mia, I really learned to appreciate the story telling and musical effort displayed by the Broadway musical cast. Broadway musicals may be a great learning experience for your kids as well. I would recommend that you read over the storyline through Wikipedia or something like that before you attend, of course, because once you get seated and people start singing, you have no idea what is going on in the dark. But, this winter holiday, definitely consider taking your family out for a Broadway musical.
