broadway musical

I can't believe the number of people that I know that go to New York and don't go to a Broadway Musical! To me, that would be like taking a vacation and a cruise to the Caribbean, and never getting in that beautiful, warm, clear water. What a waste that would be, and to me, what a waste it is to make the sojourn to New York and not attend a Broadway musical. I mean, depending on the time of the visit, a person could take in some incredible shows, shows like Mamma Mia, Les Miserables (an incredible production with lots of drama), The Phantom of The Opera (a personal favorite of mine and my family), or some of the newer shows. A good Broadway musical (there have been stinkers in the past) is so well done that viewing and living the experience is much like a vacation all by itself (if you're unsure, stick with a classic). So, it would be like going to New York as the primary trip, but then going to a Broadway musical, which is like a trip within the trip--the icing on the cake to me. Whatever you decide to do when you go to New York, please schedule in a set of Broadway tickets to a Broadway musical, if not, your trip may be quite a bit like eating a great big pizza, but one that is void of cheese!
